Oxygen cylinder blast in Arya Plant, 3 seriously injured.

Barbil: On Sunday afternoon, three people were seriously injured in an oxygen cylinder burst in the Arya Iron and Steel Company plant at Matkambeda in Barbil town of Keonjhar district. They were shifted to Keonjhar District Hospital, while the condition of one is said to be critical. They are Prem Shankar Sharma, an employee of the plant, Krishna Das, and Karan Mahant of Barbil Sadhu Singh Hatting area.

According to the sources, a gas agency brought oxygen cylinders to the plant today. While emptying these cylinders, one of them suddenly exploded. As a result, two of the agency's employees, Krishna and Karan, and the plant's employee, Prem, were seriously injured. they were first brought to Barbil Community Health Centre. After primary treatment there, they are shifted to Keonjhar District Hospital as their condition became critical. While the plant authorities said that all arrangements are being made by the company for the treatment of the serious, the accident has raised questions about the safety measures of the Aria plant.
