Hyderabad: The annual All India industrial exhibition Numaish that commenced on January 1 has attracted participation from nearly 1,600 traders from across the country. While the footfall on the first day at the Numaish was slow, the traders and the organizers are hoping that the response from people will improve, as days go by. around 1,600 stalls have been set up this year and traders from different parts of the country are showcasing their products at the exhibition. Stalls displaying the myriad range of dry fruits and nuts and clothing from various States including Chennai, Kashmir, Gujarat, West Bengal, etc., have already come up at Numaish. The exhibition also has food stalls offering different cuisines including South Indian and Chinese. the All India Industrial Exhibition (AIIE) Society, which organizes the annual event, had recently announced that all the Covid-19 norms were being followed. One of its members, Ravi Yadav who monitors the activities of the annual exhibition said that all the stalls are disinfected on a daily basis. The stall owners were asked by the AIIE to take all possible precautionary measures including wearing a mask and social distancing.
