BJP MLA Raja Singh's comment against Prophet: Huge protests in Hyderabad.

Several protesters were seen taking to streets across the city to protest against the Telangana BJP MLA's comment.Hundreds of protesters marched from Barkas to Chandrayangutta in Hyderabad, raising slogans against suspended BJP leader Raja Singh over his alleged derogatory comments against Prophet Mohammed.Shalibanda, clash broke out between protesters and police when hundreds of Muslims gathered at Shalibanda to stage protest against MLA Raja Singh. Stone pelting incidents was reported from the area. Police resorted to lathi charge to disperse the mob. Few people including a reporter were said to be injured.Police had to deploy additional forces and use water canons to control the situation. 'Sar Tan Se Juda' slogans were raised by the protestors in Hyderabad’s Old City. An effigy of MLA Raja Singh was also burnt in the area.
